September 26 - December: Jobs Partnership Program
We work with local churches and businesses to help unemployed or underemployed adults find good jobs. Our 10-week program combines a Biblical curriculum with a traditional business curriculum. In addition to learning how to write a résumé, perform on the job, and resolve conflict, participants get a foundation in Christian values and ethics that will serve them their entire lives. Networking events help match participants with prospective employers from the local business community.

Because it is based on Christ's teachings, our Jobs Partnership Program has a much higher success rate than secular job programs, with 80 percent of our graduates still gainfully employed in Washington County.

September and beyond: Kids Works
Mission Brenham volunteer tutors help kids understand their school assignments, with special focus on improving their reading skills. Our 1-to-1 ratio of students to mentors ensures that each child gets the help and attention he or she needs.

September and beyond: Kids' Church
It can be difficult for young people to become grounded in Christ's teachings if they have no way to get to church. Once a week we bus kids from low-income housing projects to church.

“I got a job at Brookshire Bros. I got a new coat at work. I will be getting a car soon. Next week I will be moving into my own apartment. I have had more good things happen to me in the last ten weeks, than in the last ten years. Thanks!”
